Touch Players Receive Top-Tier Training in Melbourne

On November 11th, 2023, Sri Lanka Touch Footy and Melbourne touch6s collaborated to offer a valuable training session for players in Melbourne. Held at the Moorabbin Rugby Club (92 Keys Road, Moorabin, VIC) from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, the program provided participants with a unique opportunity to learn from renowned coaches and elevate their touch football skills.

The training session was led by two highly experienced figures: Elies El Chaar, specializing in personal training and health coaching and founder of Synergise Health & Sport Development, and David Diack, a respected figure in the touch football community. Their combined expertise in the game, coupled with their understanding of the specific needs of players, promised to offer invaluable insights and practical skills.

Sri Lanka Touch Footy expressed their appreciation for the coaches’ contributions, stating, “Their experience and knowledge will provide a much-needed platform to get touch players to the required skill level.” The organization expressed confidence that such training clinics would equip players with the tools and techniques needed to excel in top-tier competitions.
