Leah Percy has earned her spot as an world best touch footballer, recognized not only locally but globally as one of the sport’s finest. With over 8 years representing Australia and an impressive 40 caps, Leah is a multiple world champion.
Starting her journey in touch football at the age of 14, Leah has become the most capped Victorian women’s open captain, boasting numerous MVP and players player awards. In 2013, her exceptional skills and coaching abilities were acknowledged when she was named among Australia’s top 100 sportswomen of all time.
Beyond her achievements on the field, Leah, along with Elies El Chaar, founded the Synergise Health & Sport Development brand in 2007. Initially focusing on personal training and health coaching, they have since expanded into sports coaching and development, aiming to help young athletes reach their full potential.
Leah and Elies, both accomplished touch football players and Leah an established netballer, bring their wealth of experience to coaching. As championship-winning captain in Victoria’s Netball League, Leah’s leadership and coaching abilities have made her and Elies highly regarded as the best coaches in Victoria.
Under the Synergise Health & Sport Development banner, Leah and Elies have successfully transformed players into elite athletes, with many going on to represent their state or country. Their comprehensive program addresses strength, speed, agility, and most importantly, game sense, preparing athletes for school or representative selections while also promoting general health, fitness, and well-being.
In netball, Leah’s influence spans over 20 years. As a multiple MVP winner and captain of the Southern Saints Championship team in 2014, she not only led her team to victory but also earned the player of the final award. Leah’s coaching programs have proven successful in developing teams and players, making her an influential figure both on and off the court.
